Last Thursday in my class, I realized one of my students was only moving parts of his body instead of the whole body while doing Tai Chi. In our Tai Chi class, we emphasize moving yourself as a whole piece instead part of the body. While we exercise, we exercise the whole body. The result will be whole instead of parts as well. When every part of your body is moving together, they coordinate and help each other move. When I practice My Tai Chi alone, I call it a “group exercise”.

Your body is like a battery. When you use force, move around, try to release energy, you are using your battery. When you take a rest, such as sleep, or eat and drink, you are charging your battery. Doing Tai Chi is a way to minimize the releasing of your energy, since Tai Chi requires you relaxed. When you lay on a beach chair, you are relaxed, you felt like you are recharging your battery. Tai Chi does the same to you.
Now, people would still say, well, I am still going to do my gardening, play my piano, do my golf. They all require energy. Well, did I say that just doing Tai Chi will minimize the releasing of your energy? What I really mean is to melt Tai Chi theory into your life. When your life is mixed with Tai Chi. Every thing you do will be relaxed, peaceful and graceful. You will maintain full of energy with Tai Chi in your life.
