Our Special Warm Ups: Qi Gong Warm ups & Tong Bei Warm ups

Tai Chi Qi Gong as a warm up exercise before our Yang Style Tai Chi Class, It contains very simple movements with simple breathing method with stretches which calm you down and relax your mind.

We use Tong Bei Warms Up for most of our Kung Fu classes. Tong Bei exercises involve many back, shoulder, waist and wrist exercises, which help you to relax and stretch your back and flex you waist and wrist.

Yang Style Tai Chi

Meditation in motion. Great for balance, stress release and reducing joint pain. Slow moves help you coordinate upper & lower body. Application and Self-defense skill will be explained at intermediate level.

Xin Yi Dao Kung Fu 心意道: Xing Yi Quan, Ba Gua Zhang and San Da

( Xing Yi Dao Kung Fu is a internal martial arts system created by Grandmaster Li Tai Liang, one of the most famous martial art grandmasters from Mainland China.

Che Style Xing Yi is characterized by aggressive, seemingly linear movements and explosive power that’s most often applied from a short range with quick advance and turning steps. A practitioner of Xing Yi uses coordinated movements to generate bursts of power intended to overwhelm the opponent, simultaneously attacking and defending. We are also able to do it soft way for internal breathing and health benefits.

Baguazhang is an internal Chinese martial art is extremely beneficial for good health. Bagua is known for its circle walking which is very beneficial as a cardio exercise. The circle walking could be used to develop Qi, meditation, to train physical strength and is very effective as martial arts.)


Sanda is a Chinese martial arts system that combines traditional martial arts with modern combat techniques. It’s a type of kickboxing that involves striking, kicking, throwing, and sweeping. 

Tong Hua Men Kung Fu 通化門: Tong Bei, Chen Style Tai Chi, Tan Tui & Baji Quan

( Tong Hua Men Kung Fu is a mixed internal and External martial arts system created by Master Huan Zhang which he inherited mostly from his father Grandmaster Zhang Lu Ping.

Five Element Tong Bei combines fast movements with long distance attack, Great for self-defense and weight lose. Also good for relax/loose your shoulders and back. Drills and light sparring will also help you understand the martial art meaning of the movements.

Chen Style Tai Chi characterized by silk reeling, alternating fast and slow motions, and bursts of power.

Tan Tui is the most famous Chinese marital arts form for fundamental martial arts training in China.

Baji is a Chinese martial art that features explosive, short-range power and is famous for its elbow and shoulder strikes.)

Weapons/Kung Fu – Legendary Tong Bei Saber & Iron Door Latch/鐵門閂- Shao Lin Damo Sword

In our weapon class, we are rotating between Saber: Tong Bei Saber/Wrapping body Saber, Sword: Damo Sword/Wrapping Dragon Sword, Whip Stick: Iron Door Latch/ 18 Hands, Xin Yi Dao Knife/Dagger, and Baton.

Tong Bei saber is a very special forms created by the great Xiu Jian Chi ( my great grandmaster), creator of five element Tong Bei. Tong Bei saber is considered to be one of the top Chinese Saber forms. It doesn’t have a lot of flashy movements, instead, it concentrates on real saber fighting technics together with body’s twisting, extending and retreating, going up and down. The saber is protecting the body all the time while attacking and defending. The form contains 12 different animal skills. It can be practiced individually or as a form.

Iron Door Latch which is a Whip Staff form in legend from famous Tang Dynasty War General Yuchi Gong. Weapon is an extension of your arm, short weapon will train your arm power and your arm ability of further reach. This whip form is useful for both close and long distance fighting. It combines techniques of saber, sword, spear, short-stick and long stick. Drills and light sparring with protection will also help you understand the martial art meaning of the movements.

Shao Lin Damo Sword: We teach the Lao Jia (old frame) which is the original form of the representation fighting sword form from Shao Lin Temple. Lao Jia Damo sword is consider to be the original version of the form which is different than the modern Damo sword Shao Lin temple is teaching now. It has no flashy movement with very practical applications.

Xin Yi Dao Knife/Dagger is a effective street fighting form which created by Grandmaster Li Tai Liang for the Chinese Police force and army. He then shorten the form and kept all the essential part for Xin Yi Dao students.
